Description Robert Half Marketing & Creative is looking for a freelance SEO Specialist for one of our clients in Charlotte, NC! This position is 100% remote. Job Summary: The SEO Specialist will be responsible for optimizing websites to improve search engine rankings, implementing best practices in site tagging, keyword research, and content optimization. This role is customer-facing, requiring excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and internal teams. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, highly organized, and driven by deadlines without the need for constant oversight. Key Responsibilities: + Conduct comprehensive SEO audits and provide actionable recommendations for website improvements. + Develop and execute effective SEO strategies, including on-page optimization, keyword research, and site tagging. + Collaborate with clients to understand business goals and translate them into impactful SEO strategies. + Manage and monitor SEO campaigns to ensure timely delivery of results. + Analyze website analytics to measure success and identify areas for improvement. + Stay up to date with the latest SEO trends, tools, and algorithm changes. + Provide regular progress reports and performance updates to clients and stakeholders. Requirements Qualifications: + Proven experience in SEO strategy, keyword research, site tagging, and content optimization. + Familiarity with SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, Moz, Ahrefs). + Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts in a simple manner to clients and colleagues. + Self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving and minimal need for supervision. + Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. + Experience working in a customer-facing role and fostering positive client relationships. + Familiarity with technical SEO aspects such as site architecture, page speed optimization, and schema markup is a plus.
