SEASONAL CNA Chester (FT 13 Weeks)

Job Description Summary:

This is more than just a CNA role—it's a chance to bring your expertise in Med/Surg or Long-Term Care (LTC) to a dynamic team. Working in a critical access hospital, you'll primarily focus on Med/Surg and LTC care while gaining the unique opportunity to develop emergency department skills. While Med/Surg and LTC are the core of this role, there may be occasions to step into the fast-paced environment of the ED on an as-needed basis, offering an exciting chance to expand your skill set.

Seasonal Position Details:

Full-Time work schedule required for no less than 13-week period

15% Premium (Seasonal Premium)

401(k) Eligible

Shift differential pay for nights and weekends

$1,000 Seasonal Completion Bonus

Seasonal Minimum Qualification:

Seasonal CNA must have 1-year applicable experience to the unit assigned

Qualifications

Certified & Ready: A current Montana CNA certificate and up-to-date CPR certification are essential.

Experienced Professionals: For this seasonal role, at least one year of recent CNA experience is required.

Confidentiality Savvy: You understand and respect confidentiality laws, including HIPAA guidelines.

Organized & Adaptable: With strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and critical thinking, you're a self-starter who thrives independently and as part of a team.

Team Spirit: A commitment to collaboration and maintaining confidentiality is key.

Job Specific Duties

Provide basic patient care and assist with activities of daily living under the direction of leadership and per department protocols.

Perform accurate vital sign assessments, notify appropriate stakeholders of abnormalities, and document care timely and accurately.

Collaborate with leadership to prioritize workloads and ensure patient care needs are met.

Maintain patient privacy and promote a safe, therapeutic environment in line with Logan Health policies.

Support daily operations by restocking supplies, maintaining equipment cleanliness, and assisting with administrative tasks as needed.

Ensure compliance with Medicare and other applicable regulatory standards.

Contribute to a high standard of patient care through teamwork and effective communication.

Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week.  Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
