Before we can prepare and serve the food, we have to make sure our schedules are ready for each day! As the department scheduler you will help to coordinate and maintain schedules for our Food and Beverage department. Ensuring we meet the needs of each of our operating days.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Supporting the Six Flags Mantra – Friendly, Clean, Fast, and Safe ServiceUnderstanding requirements of various positions to ensure that team members are only scheduled for positions they are appropriately trainedObtaining team member availabilities three weeks in advance to coordinate and enter schedulesEntering schedules into the Six Flags Scheduling System (Optim 8)Coordinating with Trainers to issue schedules to incoming team membersReporting any departmental scheduling issues or staffing issues to Food & Beverage Management TeamEnsuring that schedules are accurate, and comply with all applicable labor standardsAbility to recognize errors and correct in a timely manner to ensure an accurate scheduleComplying with department grooming guidelinesEnforcing and complying with all Six Flags New England policiesPerforming other duties as assigned or necessary to support Six Flags New EnglandSkills and Qualifications:
