As a seasonal Steward (Dishwasher), you play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, maintaining high sanitation standards that contribute to smooth and efficient operations. Your efforts directly enhance the dining experiences we provide to our guests during this seasonal period.
Key Responsibilities:
Dishwashing Duties: Scrape and pre-clean dishes before loading them into the dishwashing machine. Operate dishwashing machinery, ensuring proper loading and use of cleaning solutions. Hand wash pots, pans, and other cookware to ensure cleanliness and readiness for use. Kitchen Cleanliness and Maintenance: Sweep and mop floors regularly, promptly addressing any spills. Clean and polish kitchen equipment, walls, racks, sinks, and disposal areas. Perform scheduled deep-cleaning tasks, including ovens, hoods, filters, and vents. Organizational Tasks: Transfer and organize supplies and equipment between storage and work areas. Restock paper towels, soap, and cleaning supplies across kitchen stations. Trash Management: Empty trash bins that are over three-quarters full, ensuring proper disposal and sanitation of the bins. Collaboration and Flexibility: Support the Back Aisle position or other kitchen roles as needed. Operate silver de-tarnishing equipment under management guidance to maintain the quality of utensils.Education and Experience:
High school diploma or GED preferred. Relevant experience (1-3 months) in a kitchen or similar environment is a plus.Physical Demands:
Frequent: Walking, lifting up to 25 pounds, and standing for extended periods. Occasional: Lifting up to 75 pounds.
