F&B Supervisor takes part in ensuring that all the daily operations of food and beverage services across both the Resort Restaurant and River Ranch Park run smoothly. This role ensures excellent customer service, maintains quality and safety standards and supports staff management to deliver a seamless and enjoyable dining experience across all outlets. This task is to be handled in a friendly, courteous, timely, and professional manner resulting in an extremely high level of guest satisfaction. Assist Recreation Manager and Restaurant Managers with all phases of the Hole in the Wall Restaurant and River Ranch Park of food and beverage operations.
SUPPORTIVE FUNCTIONS:
In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the supervisor based upon the particular requirements of the company.
Maintains inventories of equipment, amenities, chemicals and other supplies to insure the items are in stock and reorders in timely manner. Coaches, counsels and disciplines staff, when appropriate, to insure standards are met and assigns staff to additional training when needed. Consults with Property Operations regarding projects or general maintenance of public areas. Performs line employees job functions as needed under high volume and emergency situations. Other duties as assigned by the River Ranch manager, such as implementing procedures and operating plans.REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Must have the ability to communicate in English. Self-starting personality with an even disposition. Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times. Can communicate well with guests. Must be willing to “pitch-in” and help co-workers with their job duties and be a team player. Ability to use point of sale. Ability to lift/carry weight up to 50 pounds. Ability to push/and pull carts of products weighing up to 150 pounds.
