SEASONAL FEEDMILL GRAIN SCALE AND FEED OPERATOR
**Description** This position will be important to the Feed Mill with impact on inbound ingredients, the purchase of grain from local growers, feed load planning, accounting support and TriOak relationships with customers. This position requires a pleasant personality, good written and oral communication skills, the ability to multi-task, a high degree of accuracy, good computer skills and accurate data entry skills. The ideal candidate will be able to manage multiple priorities and activities throughout each day with a high degree of accuracy. The ability to positively work with our Employees, our suppliers, local customers and the surrounding community is critical for this position. **Essential Job Functions:** + Coordinate the receiving function for inbound grain and ingredients: + Operate a truck scale and the accompanying computer systems to receive grain and bulk feed ingredients into the mill. + Grade all inbound grain shipments. + Print tickets associated with grain and feed ingredients as they are received. + Enter grain and feed ingredient information into Dynamics Great Plains or related programs with a high degree of accuracy. + Print new corn contract report as needed. + Record and file daily “Bushnell Corn Usage”. + Work closely with TriOak milling departments on order changes and updates. + Complete the invoicing process to bill feed that is being delivered out of the Bushnell Feed Mill. + Responsible for maintaining a clean working environment. + Run errands outside of the mill as needed. + Pleasantly greet all customers and visitors and direct them to the proper places. + Answer phone calls and direct them to the proper people. + Other duties as assigned. **Success Factors:** + Strong communication skills. This includes the ability to speak and write clearly – over the phone, through e-mail or in all other interactions. + Able to take action in solving problems and demonstrate a level of motivation that results in productive time efficiencies. + Ability to be a productive team member in both formal and informal settings. + Strong organizational skills, with the ability to handle numerous projects, while maintaining high accuracy and attention to detail. + Display honesty, trustworthiness, and dependability at all times. + Be respectful of others. + Show initiative to seek other work upon completion of a task. + Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. **Job Qualifications:** + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. + Knowledge of and experience with Dynamics Great Plains and Agris software would be helpful. + Prior experience working as an office assistant in a professional environment. + Experience in grain handling.
