Job Summary: 

We are seeking motivated and reliable individuals for seasonal positions. Candidates must be 18 years old and currently enrolled in high school or college. The role involves providing safe and efficient production support, including various tasks such as hand-stacking, case packing, housekeeping, product conveying, and reclaim.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide safe and efficient production support, including hand-stacking, case packing, housekeeping, product conveying, and reclaim.Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) in detail without deviation.Set up packaging coders and validate product codes in accordance with code specifications.Identify and effectively communicate any out-of-specification product conditions and follow the established notification protocol.Perform routine equipment adjustments and use various hand tools.Safely operate a lift truck to move materials as needed throughout the shift.Accurately and neatly complete production records and documents.Assist with equipment change-overs, CIP/SIP, clean-up, and equipment set-up.Perform department environmental controls.Perform product reclaim and rework operations.Perform product packaging and stacking operations.Support internal and external audits.Follow all established occupational health and safety procedures.Follow all established GMPs and Food Safety requirements.Cross-train with other departments.Perform good housekeeping within established guidelines.Adhere to the Saputo Code of Ethics and actively apply the Saputo Company Values and Workplace Climate Policy.Work collaboratively in a team environment with co-workers and other department personnel.Perform other duties as required by management.

Job Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent, or 1-year demonstrated work experience.Previous experience in food manufacturing, warehousing, or dairy food manufacturing preferred.Good math skills.Proficient computer skills, including software and data entry; SAP experience is a plus.Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen and background check.Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.Good attendance is a must.

Physical Demands:

Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with noise, changing temperatures (hot, wet, cold, humid), and consistent standing/walking/bending/stooping/climbing stairs.Fine manipulation and dexterity, gripping, and squeezing.Visual acuity with the ability to see color.Working with chemicals, wearing personal protective equipment, and following approved chemical handling procedures.

$21.00/per hour
