Job Description

Enter sample data into the eLIMS system in a timely and accurate manner. Perform laboratory testing on all incoming samples in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner, ensuring sample turnaround time goals are met or exceeded.

This position offers two openings: Monday - Friday from 12 pm with a total pay of $17.94/hr, and Wednesday - Sunday from 12 pm with a total pay of $19.69/hr. The role is anticipated to go until the end of February, with a high possibility of extension based on sample volume. The Microbiology Business Unit handles testing of pet food, ingredients, nutraceuticals, and food dyes in a repetitive, time-sensitive lab environment. Candidates should be comfortable with the potential of 45-50 hours of work per week and be prepared for varying sample volumes, which may require overtime. The department values a team-oriented attitude, with all members participating in sample preparation and testing. Lab-appropriate wear includes long pants and closed-toe shoes; lab coats and safety glasses will be provided. Physical demands include standing all day and frequent hand usage.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.94 - $19.69
