Do you enjoy driving and don't mind loading and unloading vehicles at various locations? Join us this season as a Laundry Driver! In this role, you’ll transport laundry and linens from our vacation properties to our central laundry facilities. This position requires frequent lifting, loading, unloading, and driving between locations, repeating the process throughout your shift.
This is a seasonal position. Employment dates begin as soon as 12/9/24 and work through end of season on or around 3/29/25. As a part-time, seasonal position, exact schedule and hours are varied based on the needs of the business and may fluctuate from one week to the next.
Compensation
$22 / hour. Actual pay will vary based on a candidate's skill, experience, education and/or location. $500 Sign-On paid out after 30 days of employment More benefits and company perks information belowWhat you’ll do
Transport laundry from buildings in and around the assigned area to one of Vacasa’s central laundry facilities. Load and unload linen carts and other items out of the truck to assigned properties and the central laundry. Unload clean linen and record inventory. Inspect, sort, wash, dry, and fold linen as necessary. Maintain resort vehicle(s): gas, oil, cleanliness - interior and exterior; fill out daily vehicle reports and report any malfunctions to management Adheres to the D.O.T. rules and regulations Operate radios efficiently and professionally in communicating with staff Notify security of accidents and complete appropriate documentation Other tasks as needed - because every day looks different in hospitality!The skills you’ll need
Experience in a hotel or a related field preferred Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record for the applicable state Availability to work Sunday through Saturday, early mornings and evenings as needed.
