We have an excellent opportunity for experienced power sports enthusiasts to join our team. This is primarily an inbound contact/call center environment. Responsibilities include taking customer orders, verifying shipment information, up-selling and cross-selling products, resolution of customer issues and concerns, and escalation of system and website problems. You may also be required to process inbound customer email and chat sessions as well as make outbound follow-up calls.    MotoSport is seeking enthusiastic people excited about powersports! Geek out with customers via phone or chat all day/night by sharing your insane, expert, gear knowledge.  In addition to providing smashing service, you’ll increase Motorsport’s growth by suggesting the coolest add-on items that complement the customers’ purchases. Gearhead Operations focuses on making sure we have the answer to everything our customers might want to know before they even think of the question.        If you are someone who loves talking about the latest dirt bikes, street bikes, and motorcycle brands with people who share your passion, now might be a perfect time for a change. PAY: $ per hour   LOCATION: Work from home, wired internet required, this is not a role you can work from a van or on trips. If you are in the SLC area and prefer to work in an office, you are welcome to work at our Gearhead Operations office in West Valley City.    SEASONAL INFO: This is a seasonal position, the length of seasonal employment is dependent on business demand and typically runs 3-6 months, however, a minimum timeframe cannot be guaranteed.  Yes! We do often convert our high-performing seasonal gearheads to regular status, these decisions are based on business demands and your performance.  Seasonal positions are not eligible for benefits; however, you do get to participate in our employee discount perk and it's a good one!    What sort of scheduling availability are we looking for when hiring?If hired, your schedule will change weekly, we do not offer set schedules. We are closed on Sundays
Fulltime Scheduling Needs:Saturdays: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Required)Weekdays: 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM (Flexible)One weekday off (your choice, excluding Monday).
Part-Time Scheduling Needs:Saturdays: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Flexible)Weekdays: 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM (Flexible)16 hours per week minimum4-hour minimum shift on SaturdaysWhat are the dates and requirements for training?Training Dates: March 10-28, 2025Training Class Schedule:  Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm MST, you cannot miss any training during this time Training is, of course, paid and you will train from home We provide all equipment for training and for the job, you cannot use personal equipmentIf hired, once you complete training your schedule will change weekly, we do not offer set schedulesWhat you get to do every day: Provide concierge-level service to our riders    Assist riders with general product questions.    Answer calls, chats, and emails    Build and maintain relationships with our riders    Solve problems, and answer questions about orders, returns, shipping, and order status    Contact customers via follow-up    Actively participate in problem-solving for the customer, department, and company    Maintain a professional attitude and delight the customer    Assist customers with navigating our websites, including product filters, policy pages, and other self-service features   Solve all problems with a customer-first mentality and out-of-the-box thinking when required   Answer inbound calls, emails, and online chats in addition to outbound contacts as necessary  Work alongside a motivated and fun team full of riders who are passionate about Powersports   Build your product knowledge through training and assisting our riders     What you bring to the role: Experience in the Powersports industry preferred    A passion and craving for getting outside and sharing your experiences with our customers    Must be able to multitask, prioritize, and think on your feet    A high level of Dirt Bike, ATV/UTV, and/or Street Bike product knowledge required    Demonstrated ability to educate customers to satisfy their individual needs and ensure the correct fit for the make/model of their equipment    High School Diploma or equivalent   A minimum of six months of customer service/sales experience in any industry is preferred   Solid skills with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Exchange, etc.)   Strong Communication skills (Verbal and Written)   Strong ability to multitask   Proactive mindset and creative problem-solving skills   Strong Time Management ability   Ability to type 30+ WPM   Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with customers   Ability to use active listening to identify customer needs, concerns, and complaints   Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and written required  Able to work efficiently and effectively within multiple channels of inquiries  Basic computer operating skills  Physical Demands, Visual Acuity & Working Environment:
