Summary

Simplot Grower Solutions is looking for seasonal warehous support that will commit to the fall fertilizer season starting mid-September, running through October.  Full-time and Part-time temporary opportunities are availalbe with full benefits and the opportunity for substantial over-time hours.  

Key Responsibilities

Performs varied responsibilities such as:

Delivering non-hazardous chemicals Assist in receiving/unloading deliveries Assist with inventory management Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations (pre-trip, load securement, etc.) Assist in general maintenance of trucks and other vehicles (changing oil, brakes, etc.) General housekeeping, keeping areas clean and in safe condition (sweeping, power washing, cleaning up spills, etc.) Perform warehouse/plant duties (use of loader and forklift for loading inventory and maintaining fertilizer tower) Assisting with all other general maintenance as assigned

Typical Education

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Relevant Experience Truck driving experience preferred Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing Knowledge of local rural geography is a plus Knowledge of farm operations is a plus Experience operating a manual transmission a plus Ag background preferred Forklift experience a plus Basic mechanical skills Requirements Valid Driver's license Must pass a pre-employment drug screen Must be able to lift 50lbs Ag-Industry Hours - Must be willing to work overtime and weekends to meet seasonal demands.  Must be able to perform all essential functions of the job Other Information
