What we're looking for
We're seeking a hard working, energetic employee to help us serve our guests with our growing portfolio of vacation homes. The Driver is responsible for driving according to scheduled runs and/or as needed for guests and accommodating guests during their stay in an attentive, courteous and efficient manner.
This is a seasonal position. We are hiring for this position on or around 11/27/24 and employment is expected to end on or around 4/20/25. The company is under no obligation to extend your employment through the season nor beyond the end date. Hours can and will vary weekly and seasonally based on business needs.
Compensation
$20 - $22 / hour. Actual pay will vary based on a candidate's skill, experience, education and/or location. More benefits and company perks information belowWhat you’ll do
Greet guests and assist them with loading and unloading vehicle. Transport guests to/from surrounding locations as directed by dispatcher. Answer inquiries pertaining to the Resort & amenities, services, policies, areaattractions, dining, entertainment and directions. Assist guests with luggage and bags to rooms upon request. Open vehicle and hotel doors and greet arriving and departing guests. Keep up to date with all restaurant, shop and other businesses, including appropriate drop off and pick up locations. Provide information, maps, and directions as necessary. Learn to run dispatch and assist dispatch as necessary. Maintain resort vehicle(s): gas, oil, cleanliness - interior and exterior; fill out daily vehicle reports and report any malfunctions to management. Operate radios efficiently and professionally in communicating with staff. Notify of accidents and complete appropriate documentation.
The skills you’ll need and position requirements
High School diploma or equivalent required Experience in a hotel or a related field preferred Class C CDL with P1 endorsement preferred, but willing to train the right candidate In order to be insured under Vacasa's shuttle policy, you: Must be age 23+ and have a valid driver's license, 3 years experience as a licensed driver, and 9 months of CDL (if required) Must not have any major violations on driving record for the last 5 years Provide medical certification from a healthcare provider within 30 days of starting employment if age 70+What you’ll get
