TICKET AGENT (SEASONAL) - ATLANTIC CITY BUS TERMINAL (May 15th through September 10th including Memorial Day weekend and Labor Day weekend) Roles and Responsibilities: + Answer telephone calls and provide accurate information to customers concerning headways, routings, buses and other reasonable requests for information + Conduct transactions with customers (sell tickets and make reservations) + Prepare ticket sales and package express reports + Complete supporting documentation (deposit slip and receipts) and complete reports as needed + Announce departures Knowledge and Skills Required: + MUST BE FULLY AVAILABLE to work up to 40 hours on weekdays and weekends starting Memorial Day through Labor Day weekend + Customer service experience interacting with the public + Previous experience in a cash-handling position + General knowledge of NJ TRANSIT'S bus lines preferred At NJ TRANSIT, diversity and inclusivity are vital to our success as are committed to hiring individuals from diverse backgrounds, experiences, abilities, and veteran status.
