Our remarkable team is searching for two Seasonal Vineyard Technicians to assist in growing world-class winegrapes on some of the most esteemed vineyards in the region. Whether you are a recent college graduate or are aspiring to a technical trade this role is a great way to introduce yourself to the wine industry and build your skill set! Technicians in this role can expect to work 5 days a week with the potential for additional Saturday and overtime hours during harvest. What You Will Do: + Participate in vineyard monitoring and the collection of vineyard data using specialized equipment + Perform vineyard scouting and learn to identify pests and disease + Observe labor and equipment operation, collect performance data and offer improvement opportunities + Collect maturity samples use for harvest planning and assist with harvest related activities. + Maintain a safe work environment. + Ensure all actions and decisions are consistent with quality standards. + Maintain satisfactory attendance, to include timeliness. + Abide by applicable quality, environmental, and safety regulatory considerations. What You Will Need: + High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate. + Required to read, write, speak, and understand English. + Minimum 18 years of age. + Required to work any shift and work overtime when required. + Required to lift up to 80 lbs. + Candidate is required to have a valid driver’s license, a safe driving record and reliable vehicle (if applicable) at the time of hire. This position will undergo a motor vehicle check (MVR) to confirm a history of safe and responsible driving. If needed, candidate must obtain the appropriate state driver’s license based on the position’s location within 30 days of hire. + Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation.
