Right now, we are experiencing rapid growth and are seeking an energised Seaworthiness Assurance (SwA) Officer within the Minor Vessel (MV) Capability Lifecycle Manager (CLCM) program based. The Seaworthiness Assurance Officer is a member of the Operational Support Team and accountable to the MV CLCM Senior Maintenance Manager for the initial establishment and ongoing control of the assurance for maintenance activities by the Regional Maintenance Centres of the respective MV classes supported.
The Operational Support Team is responsible for all activities associated with operational assessments, activity planning and annual work programs, operational performance measurement, maintenance assurance and seaworthiness compliance monitoring.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications
Demonstrated ability to act as an advisor to a team with a focus on policy and strategy implementation.Ability to become actively involved in daily operations when required, to resolve complex problems.Experience in maintenance administration and management.Experience contributing to operational plans that impact the achievement of results of the Function / Product Line.Previous experience working in a role with a focus on short-term operational plans.A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline, with minimum Cert IV in a relevant technical discipline or equivalent industry experience.A minimum of six (6) years’ experience in technical fields (engineering or maintenance) in either manufacture, maintenance or testing, or maintenance management.Eligible to obtain and maintain a NV1 Defence Security Clearance.
