Corteva Agriscience is looking for an SEC External Reporting Analyst. The SEC External Reporting Analyst role is a highly visible role within the Corporate Accounting organization, interacting across all business units and key functions.
Primary Responsibilities - How will you help us Grow!
Preparation of financial reports and related footnote disclosures in compliance with United States (U.S.) generally accepted accounting principles and applicable Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) rules and regulations in conjunction with SEC filings.Providing financial data / analyses to Investor Relations for earnings news releases as well as to other internal stakeholders.Coordinating reporting items from all businesses and key functions.Researching and drafting of new disclosures for the quarterly and annual reports.Performing technical research and monitoring disclosure requirements.Performing regular benchmarking analyses of peer and other public company disclosures.Involvement in technical accounting projects, as needed.Other responsibilities include analyzing financial data, non-GAAP measures reporting, XBRL tagging, appropriate documentation of internal controls in accordance with SOX requirements as it relates to external reporting responsibilities, performing other accounting, analysis, and disclosure duties on a timely basis and coordination with external auditors.Experience and Education – What you'll bring to the table!
BS in Accounting / Finance.CPA required.4+ years public accounting experience (Big 4 preferred).Thorough understanding of SEC reporting requirements and U.S. GAAP.Strong oral and written skills.Self-directed and accountable.Strong analytical skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks.Ability to work well in teams and interact at all levels of the organization.Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools, including Windows, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.Workiva financial reporting experience a plus.Benefits – How We’ll Support You:
