Job Details Responsibilities of the Second Cook include: Preparation of room service meals, vegetables, salads, and specialty items for patients, employee dining room and the Patio Cafe meals. Cleaning and restocking work areas. Requirements for the Second Cook role include: Requires High School Diploma or GED equivalent ServSafe and DOH Food Handlers Certificates required. Expired certifications must be recertified within 6 months of employment. 3 years' experience in institutional, restaurant, or food service setting with knowledge in quality food preparation, cooking techniques, presentation, and customer service. Culinary degree or certification preferred. Standing for long periods and lifting items up to 50 pounds. Salary Range USD $23.79 - USD $29.86 /Hr. The salary range or rate listed does not include any differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
