Under the direction of Unit Director, Clinical House Supervisor, +/or Designee:
Provides supervision of workflow and staff for a designated shift in overseeing the efficient functioning of the department.
Assures the provision of patient care, by addressing performance, risk management, patient, family and physician issues/concerns as appropriate.
Role models caring behaviors in relationships with others.
Coordinating, ensuring and providing direct patient care activities on the unit through: provision of nursing rounds, assessments and treatments; facilitating admission, transfer and discharge activities; provision of patient and family-centered education; care coordination and individualized treatment planning as applicable, etc.
Minimum Education, Experience, Training, and Licensures Required:
Active Kentucky RN license
BLS, ACLS and/or other designated unit specific certification training/requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or currently actively pursuing a BSN degree. (BSN degree must be completed within 5 years of starting program)
Minimum of 1 year of RN experience
Preferred experience
Minimum of 2 years of RN OR experience
