Second Shift Turning Machinist or CNC Milling Machinist-10hr days 4 days/wk 2 or more years of machining experience operating lathes or mills and 1 or more years  of set up experience and as well as a strong understanding of blueprints, GD&T and G&M codes is required 2nd shift hours are 3:00 pm to 1:30 am Monday - Thursday Pay is up to $40 hourly Must be a United States citizen or Green Card holder No remote Full-time Permanent W-2 employee Full benefits No relocation Big Bend, Wisconsin area   This stable, established, growing, high-precision manufacturing company is looking to hire a full time, permanent Second Shift Turning Machinist or CNC Milling Machinist. The work environment is clean and temperature controlled. The company is always looking to be better and has a dozen continuous improvement projects going on at any giving time. Because their products are also used by the military and the aerospace industry, the quality needs to be at a higher level than other manufacturers.    The successful candidate's duties and responsibilities will encompass the following: Working second shift hours from 3:00 pm to 1:30 am Monday through Thursday Accurately running automated CNC lathes per specifications Utilizing a variety of measuring instruments Setting tools Making tool page offsets Investigating and troubleshooting issues Maintaining a clean, safe work environment Documenting as needed   Candidates must have a minimum background consisting of the following: 2+ years of machinist experience operating lathes or mills and 1+ years of set up experience  Strong ability to understand blueprints An understanding of GD&T and G&M codes Ability to follow safety requirements Ability to utilize gauging and a variety of measuring instruments A solid work history A US citizen or possess a green card A residence within 45 minutes
