QUALIFICATIONS: Education, Training And ExperienceTo join our team, you will have:
Registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant. Basic Life Support, Level C required. Graduate of a recognized Perioperative Nursing specialty program. Recent, related experience is an asset depending on clinical setting. Skills And Abilities Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Demonstrated ability to organize assigned workload and set priorities. Demonstrated ability to deal effectively with a variety of internal and external contacts, including co-workers, physicians, community agency representatives, patients, residents and families. Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.Operating Room Nurses provide direct nursing care to patients requiring perioperative care associated with the following services:
Thoracic Neurological Orthopedic General Gynecology Obstetrics Eye, Ear, Nose and Throat Urological Plastics
