Reports to the Chief Engineer or designate, operates, repairs and maintains low pressure steam and/or hot water boilers. Carries out preventative and demand maintenance on air conditioning equipment, emergency power and other related equipment of the facility in compliance with applicable codes and regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS: Education, Training And ExperienceCertificate of competency as a 5th Class Power Engineer recognized by the Province of BC. Two years recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Valid Class 5 vehicle license.
Skills And Abilities Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Ability to interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications. Ability to deal with others effectively.
