Reporting to the Manager, Pharmacy Informatics, utilizing a variety of Pharmacy and hospital software applications, such as Cerner, and with direction from the Informatics Analyst, the Informatics Support Analyst, Pharmacy maintains Pharmacy electronic systems and databases; tests new/revised systems and records and reports results; investigates, documents and resolves or escalates/assigns systems and hardware problems in accordance with established protocols and procedures; supports systems analysis and development; and participates in systems user orientation and training.
QUALIFICATIONS:Education, Training And ExperienceCompletion of a recognized two year computer systems technology diploma program or recognized Computer Science courses, plus two (2) years recent, related experience in a hospital pharmacy setting, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Skills And AbilitiesAbility to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Ability to organize work. Ability to deal with others effectively.
