What You'll Be Doing
This SecOps Engineer will be part of the Lilly Cybersecurity team, responsible for delivering and securing technology that supports the Lilly mission, specifically focused on identity and access management (IAM) technologies supporting Consumer and Partner authentication. In this role, you will partner with the various business, information technology, and larger cyber security teams to ensure technology is deployed, configured and supported securely and aligned with Cybersecurity and enterprise technology strategies. You will be responsive and disciplined in your support of the security services that are provided.
What You Should Bring:
As a SecOps Engineer, you will bring your technical experience to implement, support, and secure authentication services for Consumer and Partner identities.
Understand the threat landscape with the ability to translate the general threats into relevant business and technical impacts.
As a superb communicator with strong interpersonal skills, you will work and collaborate effectively on a team to support identity capabilities and solutions.
Focusing on our business partners, you will implement and support technical solutions and capabilities in Identity that improve security while enhancing user experience.
With a high level of curiosity, you’ll keep abreast of the latest developments in IAM technologies, security threats, and regulatory changes.
Collaborate with enterprise IT, Cyber team members and stakeholders to understand business needs and issues to incorporate feedback into the IAM technologies and solutions.
Your Basic Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
3+ years demonstrated technical experience supporting Identity and Access Management technologies and capabilities.
3+ years of experience supporting preferably Okta / Auth0 or other Customer and Partner identity solutions like ForgeRock, Azure B2C, Akamai Identity Cloud, PingOne.
Additional Preferences:
Technical experience across identity and access management technologies such as Azure AD/Entra ID and/or Active Directory.
Understanding of authentication and authorization technologies and federated identity standards and protocols (multifactor authentication, certificate-based authentication, LDAP, Kerberos, OAuth, SAML, OpenID Connect).
Experience in implementing and supporting enterprise-class security systems and services.
Strong communication, documentation, and customer service skills to engage with Customers in the complete resolution of their issues.
Ability to understand and follow documented processes to consistently support Services.
Ability to work with a distributed and virtual team.
3+ years demonstrated technical experience evaluating, designing, and developing Identity and Access Management technologies and capabilities.
Experience in addressing consumer data regulations and integrating regulatory and industry standards (ISO/IEC, PCI DSS, SOX, HIPAA, FDA, GDPR, CCPA) into cybersecurity designs.
Experience in designing and developing enterprise-class security systems and services.
Experience defining and implementing identity lifecycle workflow solutions.
Experience developing solutions with PowerShell, Python, NodeJS, PHP or other development and scripting languages.
An understanding of common services used in cloud-based architectures, with experience in AWS and/or Azure, and awareness of cloud platform security and controls.
Experience working in Agile teams and using tools such as Confluence and Jira.
Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or similar.
Additional Information:
Remote with travel to Indianapolis - 10-25%.
Local candidates will be required to work a hybrid model at the Lilly Corporate Center in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Lilly currently anticipates that the base salary for this position could range from between $63,750 to 180,400 and will depend, in part, on the successful candidate’s qualifications for the role, including education and experience. Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance). In addition, Lilly offers a comprehensive benefit program to eligible employees, including eligibility to participate in a company-sponsored 401(k); pension; vacation benefits; eligibility for medical, dental, vision and prescription drug benefits; flexible benefits (e.g., healthcare and/or dependent day care flexible spending accounts); life insurance and death benefits; certain time off and leave of absence benefits; and well-being benefits (e.g., employee assistance program, fitness benefits, and employee clubs and activities).
