Job Description A client in San Diego is looking for a Secret Cleared Senior Development Security Operations Engineer who can join their team. Their main responsibilities will include designing, developing, and improving automation pipelines and deployment processes, while ensuring the security and integrity of systems against cybersecurity threats. They utilize DevOps tools, manage software dependencies, and assist with server upgrades, patches, and virtual environment setups. Additionally, they will perform security scans, remediate findings, and prepare reports on software patch status for stakeholders. Their day to day will focus on infrastructure that aids a team of software engineers in the execution of full life-cycle software development. They will implement robust CI/CD pipelines integrated with automated testing and vulnerability and qualify scanning capabilities. They will work in a hybrid environment on a 9/80 schedule. Skills and Requirements -Active Secret Clearance -Bachelors degree in information technology, Network Management, or Information Systems ( can substitute for YOE) -3-5 years experience with DevSecOps tools and techniques (such as Jenkins, JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket, etc.) -3-5 years experience with Linux servers and workstations; the ability to easily navigate the Command Line Interface (CLI), knowledgeable with typical Linux troubleshooting tools, and have a broad understanding of Linux internals and debugging techniques -Proficiency with at least one scripting language, preferably Python, with the ability to automate processes; experience in software development lab infrastructure design, layout, and implementation -Familiar with AWS services, including EC2, S3, Secrets Manager, ECR, and Lambda. -Proficient with Ansible to automate processes and streamline deployments. -IAT level 2 Cert (Sec+ or equivalent) -Cisco CCNA or equivalent null We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
