Job Description Overview: The Model-Based Systems Engineer (MBSE) will guide the analysis and synthesis of Requirements, Interfaces, Behavior, Structure, and Parametrics (RIBS-P) across the systems baselines, utilizing MBSE/SysML and various modeling and simulation tools. This role supports the establishment of a Digital Engineering (DE) environment across various tools and classification levels, aligning with program priorities. The MBSE will implement necessary methods, processes, tools, training, and network data transfers to create an efficient, synchronized, and cohesive digital thread across government and industry. Key Responsibilities: Utilize MBSE tools/methods for analysis, synthesis, definition, and management of sustainment requirements. Conduct lifecycle logistics functional analysis, maintenance analysis, system design, and trade study analysis, focusing on reliability and maintainability. Validate overall model of models and generate automated documentation. Establish a technical foundation to address obsolescence, streamline configuration management, and develop maintenance and training systems and plans. Create integrated sustainment roadmaps for analysis, affordability, development, and integration of advanced capabilities. Develop necessary model views and coordinate the definition, review, and approval of system design feature attributes across the technical team. Provide model-based evaluations of system designs to the engineering team as required. Pay will vary based on a variety of factors including location, education, level of experience, and will range from $114k - $132k.
