Job Description Insight Global is looking for a Linux Engineer to join one of our clients in San Diego, CA. this role is onsite at Point Loma. This person works with a team that deploys and configures constructive simulation (e.g. JSAF, JBUS, etc) across the client enterprise and performs other engineering and project activities in order to sustain LVC products and integrated capability. The ideal candidate will need to have experience installing NTB software releases, upgrades, and patches. They will provide engineering related support for NTB setup and configuration during the planning and execution of training events. They will use systems management software to monitor key simulation components and interfaces in order to respond to error conditions and ensure continued service. The Linux Engineer will also troubleshoot problems and coordinates with other teams when problems occur. They will need to have experience developing and maintaining technical architecture, configuration, and status documentation. Compensation: $50/hr- $60/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
