Job Description Insight Global is looking to hire a Linux Engineer in the Lorton, Virginia, area. This individual will be responsible for developing, deploying, and maintaining advanced, complex operational systems on a day-to-day basis. Other responsibilities include:  Operating System upgrades and patches to ensure mission system readiness and cyber security  Transitioning, modernizing, and sustaining the main code base of the application  Implementing new features, enhancing existing functionality, and addressing any technical debt to ensure the application meets evolving mission requirements  Transition activities to include requirement reviews and assessments, backlog reviews, documentation review, development environment, and tooling standup  Supporting demonstrations at sprint and product increment reviews We can pay 67-72/hr and $140-150k depending on experience.
