Issue official receipts and provide notary services. File administrative materials, correspondence, and reports. Process travel expense claims as needed for all assigned counties employees. Other administrative duties: Checking county email and processing local courier mail. Order and maintain supply and forms inventory; May assist with the LAE budgeting process by completing the quarterly LAE expenditure report process; Complete and process invoices to assure timely payment of office expenses, monitor the budget monthly to assure adherence to line item and overall monetary parameters. Coordinate the Random Moment Sampling process. Edit and process Requests for Information as assigned. LINE STAFF SUPPORT: As assigned: Provide back up to the reception areas; schedule appointments; provide reception coverage; answer telephones and respond to questions/route callers in a professional and courteous manner on a daily rotation schedule which may include other counties. Maintain active and closed IM and Service files to assure these duties are completed in a correct and timely manner. Type and process letters and other documents. Copy, collate and distribute documents for workers. Attend all staff meetings and job related training. Other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualification Requirements Experience equal to one year of full-time clerical or closely related work; OR post high school course work in an accredited secretarial, business, or closely related curriculum may be substituted for the required experience on a month-for-month basis; OR completion of thirty (30) semester (or equivalent) hours of undergraduate college level course work may be substituted for the one year of required experience; OR certification from the State of Iowa Administrative Assistant Certificate Program will substitute for six months of the required experience; OR employees withcurrentcontinuous experience in the state executive branch that includes permanent status as a Typist–Advanced.
