Duties include greeting the public, answering questions, providing funeral and cremation information and other related topics, answering phones courteously with a goal to meet or exceed customer expectations. Duties must be performed consistent with company mission, values, and adherence to company policies and procedures. **JOB** **RESPONSIBILITIES** + Performs day-to-day administrative duties including but not limited to scheduling meetings, filing, making copies, arranging travel and completing expense reports for management team. + Receives incoming telephone calls and assists callers with any questions or comments, directs calls to appropriate team members. + Maintains office and kitchenette supplies as well as fax machines, copiers and network printers positioned for general use within the team. + Provides back-up support to specific administrative positions as assigned by management. + May serve as Receptionist to greet and receive client families and or other persons entering the office for information and assistance. + Assists with research and analysis of budget, time and attendance or other information regarding the team. + Provides support in the reporting of reconciliation payments, period end processing, deposit reconciliation, account reconciliation, inventory maintenance of assets. + Maintains a friendly attitude offering assistance and guidance to all persons entering the location. + This is not intended to be an all-inclusive list of the essential functions or duties related to this job **MINIMUM** **Requirements** **Education** + High school diploma or equivalent **Experience** + One year office work experience required **Knowledge, Skills and Abilities** + Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite + Effective writing, analytical and problem solving skills + Knowledge of principles and practices of organization, planning, records management and general administration + Ability to communicate effectively + Ability to operate standard office equipment, including but not limited to, computers, telephone systems, calculators, fax machines, and copy machines + Ability to follow oral and written instructions + Ability to multi task and set priorities + Detail oriented + Professional and team player attitude **Work CONDITIONS** **Work Environment** + Work indoors during all seasons and weather conditions + Limited local and/or multiple location traveling required + Comply with Field dress code policy **Work Postures** + Sitting continuously for many hours per day, up to 6 hours per day + Climbing stairs to access buildings frequently **Physical Demands** + Physical effort requiring manual dexterity is required, includes paperwork, calculators, computers and phone usage + Lifting, pushing, pulling up to 10 pounds **Work Hours** + Working beyond “standard” hours as the need arises + Travel less than 10% Postal Code: N1S 1M8 Category (Portal Searching): Operations Job Location: CA-ON - Cambridge Job Profile ID: U00217 Time Type: Part time Location Name: Coutts Funeral Home & Cremation Cemtre
