**39405BR** **Extended Job Title:** Section Coordinator **Org Level 1:** Texas Tech Unv Hlth Sci Ctr El Paso **Position Description:** Coordinates a section in a department that has institutional oversight responsibilities. Responsibilities involve the coordination and supervision of the various functions and aspects of a specific program or departmental project as well as the monitoring of program staff and operational procedures. Work is performed under general supervision with evaluation based on results obtained. May supervise program staff, volunteers and/or students. **Requisition ID:** 39405BR **Travel Required:** Up to 25% **Major/Essential Functions:** + Data Analysis: Ability to systematically collect, manage, maintain, analyze, interpret all data related to institutional Performance Improvement and make recommendations that will impact positively on patient care delivery plans and goals. + Complaint and Grievance Management: Receive and document complaints or grievances from patients. Enter grievances into the complaint/grievance form accurately and promptly. + Medical Records Review: Conduct reviews of medical records to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance. Assist in audits and assessments related to medical record documentation. + Meeting Coordination and Documentation: Potentially schedule meetings related to quality improvement initiatives. Take minutes during meetings and distribute them appropriately. + Adhere to all TTUHSCEP policies, procedures and processes. + Personally demonstrate, display, and act in accordance with TTUHSCEP’s values (Service, Respect, Accountability, Integrity, Advancement, and Teamwork).
