Section Head - Maritime Asset Maintenance
Job Scope:  Responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of all tugboats, mooring launch, and floating crane. Ensure safe working practices are followed in both tugs and workshops, and all the employees are having and using PPE. To ensure an acceptable standard of Quality, Environmental, OHSAS and Security Management System is maintained in accordance with recognized working practices and the Company’s QEHS&S Manual and Policy. Apply and execute the requirements of ISO-28000 (E) and ISO-20858 (E), ISO 27001, ISPS related to job and Security management System for the Supply Chain & information security management system is maintained.
Duties & Responsibilities: To ensure that all works assigned are carried out in accordance with requirements, to a highquality standard, at minimum cost and within scheduled time. Plan, schedule and effectively implement the preventive maintenance program. Respond effectively to breakdown maintenance. Ensure all the vessels are kept ready for any emergency requirements. Correspond all technical/overhauling issues with Maintenance Department Head advising him about docking or other repairs required to keep the assets under class. Correspond all training issues with Maintenance Department Head. Requests and coordination of maritime equipment on hire for supplementing Yard’s fleet when required. Responsible for all services carried out on board tugs by personnel under his direct control and ensure that all equipment, tools, plants are well maintained.
Qualifications: Degree or Equivalent, in Mechanical Engineering. 10 years’ experience in Marine Engineering, Shipyard workshops and on-board vessels.
