Securities Operations Associate Manager

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Securities Operations Associate Manager.


In this role, you will:

Manage a team of specialists in transactional tasks ensuring quality and compliance in securities operationsProvide support for being a first point of contact for all delivery tasks and escalationsIdentify opportunities for process improvement and risk control developmentEnsure team consistently meets delivery expectations and resolve issues related to reporting, career path and related activities for direct reportsCollaborate and influence all levels of professionals including more experienced managersLead team to achieve objectivesManage allocation of people and financial resources for securities operationsDevelop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy


Required Qualifications:

2+ years of Securities Operations experience, or equivalent experience demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, education1+ years of Leadership experience

Check processing operations experienceIssue management and/or risk and control experienceExperience working directly with auditors and compliance regulatorsExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsStrong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skillsAbility to navigate through ambiguity, and overcome barriersSuccessful Completion of Series 99 or equivalent or ability to obtain licensure within the required amount of timeAdvanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Project) skillsAmenable to permanent night shift schedule and follows US holidays.Amenable to onsite reporting in Five Neo Building 31st Street BGC Taguig City


Job Expectations:

Manage and develop one or more specialized customer service and operations functional teams within Operations area with complex and risk in functional areaDevelop strategies to improve staffing processes, ensure specialized functions meet regulatory guidelines in support of risk management and complianceEngage stakeholders and internal partners associated within the Operations areaWork independently on moderately complex issues and projectsIdentify opportunities for process improvement and risk control development and escalates issues to more experienced managementProvide training, performance, evaluation and coaching of less experienced teamMake decisions and resolve issues regarding resources, objectives and operations of functional area and team to meet business objectivesInterpret and develop policies and procedures for operation functions with low to moderate complexity within scope of responsibilityProvide responsibility for budget and financial performanceCollaborate and influence all levels of professionals including more experienced managersLead team to achieve objectivesManage allocation of people and financial resources for OperationsMentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent
