Security Access Officer (Experienced)

Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an Experienced Security Access Officer to support our business in the Chantilly, VA area. This organization supports commercial proprietary customers in and around the Chantilly area.

This position will be full time working on rotating shifts to include weekends and holidays as needed.  Candidate will work independently at a commercial facility managing access to the facility and monitor Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) cameras and systems.

Position Responsibilities:

Provides daily presence at front desk and greets anyone entering the facilityResponds to AlarmsRestricts access to all un-badged personnelNotifies Facility Manager of any items occurring at the facility that are not normal (power outage, activity in or around the building, deliveries, visitors, etc.)Prepares daily log of all items at the facilityMonitors exterior cameras and reports all activityNotifies Facility Engineer of any facility system alarmsConducts and documents basic advances, acts as a support team member, creates after-action reports and negotiates for support to meet requirements with internal/external support personnelAssists in the development of training materials using common office applications and delivers training from provided materialsResponds to emergency calls for assistance to mitigate hazardous situations by operating specialized tools, equipment and apparatusOperates technical surveillance equipmentDevelops procedures to implement security practicesDevelops training materials within industry guidelinesProvides security related instructionOversees activities to protect company assetsDefines appropriate response to requests for assistanceConsults with and advises management and functional and cross-functional teams regarding company information protection planning, development and improvement activities to protect company people, property, information and interestsSchedules and plans work assignments. Interprets requirements, develops procedures and monitors practices to ensure company requirements are appropriately implementedFunctions as a liaison between the customers and other company and external organizationsInvestigates, analyzes, and resolves moderately complex questions and problemsAssists less experienced personnel with security related task

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Ability to obtain an Adjudicated Full Scope Polygraph pre-startxperience as a Facility Security or Access OfficerCapable of working a rotating shift (Dupont Rotating Shift Schedule format)Capable of working flexible hours to include overtime and weekends, when necessaryCustomer Service experience

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Active Full Scope polygraphExperience using Microsoft Office Tools

Summary pay range: $80,000 - $95,000
