The Intelligence Programs Group (IPG), part of SPA’s Space and Intelligence Division, is a specialized provider of systems engineering and trusted advisory services to the Space and National Intelligence community. SPA has a need for a Security Administrative Specialist.
ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will provide security support for passing, verifying, and receiving clearances, confirming Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security eligibility, process visitor requests for NRO badges, and processing visit certifications and perm certifications.
Key duties associated with this role include but are not limited to the following:
Update security data, run inquiries, provide quality control, and develop reports using various IC and/or DoD databases.Provide support coordinating, tasking, and managing security action responses from internal NRO, other Government, and industry organizations.Maintain and update appropriate security related databases.Provide administrative/customer support duties for access control and physical security support to the NRO Headquarters buildings. Maintain tracking records, filing systems, and archives files as necessary. Maintain a schedule of appointments for Director and Deputy Director. Knowledge of security specific systems, databases, websites and applications, including AMHS, Scattered Castles, Gateway, TALON, and the Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS). Make travel arrangements, including obtaining requisite vouchers and government vehicles. Arrange for telephone conferences, update office phone cards, submit tickets for telephone repairs, facility repairs, trouble tickets (leaky faucets, burned out lights, file cabinet keys, etc.).Support personnel in-processing and out-processing transactions (i.e., Automated Out-Processing and Relocation System (AORS), Account Action Process Requests, Badge Requests, Suite Access Requests, etc.), SCI indoctrinations and debriefings, and security briefings.Responsible for supporting SCI and SAPs for legacy and evolving programs. QualificationsRequired Qualifications:
TS/SCI with CI Poly is requiredHigh School Diploma or equivalent and 3-5 years of related experienceWorking knowledge of IC clearance processing procedures, experience using various databasesProficient with MS OfficeKnowledge of IC government regulations (e.g., ICD 704) is requiredExcellent interpersonal skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced team environment as well as the ability to use discretion when handling sensitive personal information
