About the role
Due to continued growth across the region, Babcock are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Security Advisor to join our team in Sydney.
In this role, you’ll assist the Senior Security Advisor in delivering operational security outcomes for the business.
Your role will include providing expert advice in line with Protective Security Policy and Procedures, supporting day-to-day security activities related to access and information controls, and assisting with personal security clearances, you will also help deliver security education across various subjects.
You will support with operational tasks under supervision, including incident response, staff coordination, and the collection and analysis of threat and vulnerability information. Additionally, you’ll be involved in developing Protective Security Risk Assessments and ensuring continuous improvement of governance arrangements.
As part of your responsibilities, you’ll maintain security records, contribute to Protective Security education programs, and support security assurance processes. You’ll also assist with security clearance coordination, site access control procedures, and the implementation of facility security standing instructions.
