Job Description

Reporting into the Security Supervisor, the incumbent will be responsible for providing security on the work site.

Control entrances and exits (visitors, employees, customers)Lock and unlock doorsPatrol, on foot or by vehicle, buildings and yardProtect evidence in the event of a crimeProtect the scene of an incidentRespond to fires, medical emergencies, bomb threats, floods, water leaks, hazardous materialsWrite reports and logsCrime preventionCarry out searches when in doubtPerform all other related tasks

QualificationsMust be able to work shifts, day/evening/night, possible weekendsHigh school diplomaValid security guard license issued by the Private Security BureauValid first aid certificationValid driver’s licence, class 5Bilingualism, French and EnglishClean criminal recordGood computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)Ability to cope with stressful situations, in a calm and rational mannerExcellent judgment, observation and communication skills
