Job Purpose
The position will support Assurant’s formal Periodic Access Reviews (PAR) process for all regulated systems (SOX, SSAE16, PCI, MAR, NYDFS, etc.) containing confidential, financial, or private information. The position will participate in the IdentityIQ SailPoint access review onboarding certification process and assist in the facilitation of manual PARs. This will require meeting with and facilitating discussions with Data Owners and Application Development staff as well as learning their systems’ logical access configuration and ensuring access will meet IdentityIQ SailPoint configuration requirements. This role is highly analytical and requires aptitude to investigate and research while working collaboratively with teams throughout the entire business and must be comfortable with large datasets using excel spreadsheets. Candidates must have experience working in IT and must be familiar with IT systems, application, databases, servers, and network components and processes. This position will require strong project management and organizational skills.
Primary Job Responsibilities
Support and maintain systems and processes related to PAR functions
Primary Responsibilities:
Onboarding Periodic Access Reviews and participating in the automating of our reviews in IdentityIQ SailPoint
Works across the entire enterprise and business segments
Coordinates and facilitates onboarding meetings ensuring meeting notes are completed and distributed.
Tracks progress, meets strict deadlines, maintains organization and provides weekly status updates and reports
Gather information on systems to ensure they meet requirements
Conducts thorough and comprehensive Approval/Quality Assurance checks to ensure high quality and accurate deliverables within established deadlines.
Ensures deliverables are of high quality and accurate while following established QA protocols/processes while meeting established deadlines.
Collaboration with other Assurant (i.e. IAS, Privacy, IT Legal) and industry groups on IT compliance-related issues and concerns
Recognize trends in role and emerging risks; making recommendations regarding policy/procedure updates to enable proactive security approach for Assurant
Project Support
Assists leadership or contributes on small or medium sized, complex projects
Assists with multiple projects/issues concurrently
Aides in organizing and participating in meetings required for each project
Provide senior staff or manager with status reports
Identify and inform senior staff or manager of any issues, concerns, or vulnerabilities within the project
Accountable for delivering project plans, test plans, tasks and communicating progress or issues on projects
Estimate hours and duration of assigned projects
Qualifications Required
2+ years Advanced Excel experience. 2+ years of experience working with IT, Information Security, with an understanding of IT or security frameworks. Must have exposure to Active Directory, and familiarity with server, SQL, and Oracle database logical access. 2+ years of experience in a Project Management or Business Analyst functionAt Assurant, we celebrate the differences that make us who we are.
