CGI Federal is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Analyst to support a Department of Defense (DoD) client in Huntsville, AL. The selected individual will provide security technical support to meet client requirements for an Army hypersonic rocket and missile program.
This position is located in Huntsville, AL.
Provide systems engineering expertise and recommendations using model and data analysis to evaluate critical program information and technologies associated with weapon system models, frameworks, architectures, interfaces, software components, and hardware components.
Ensure compliance with acquisition systems security engineering requirements.
Provide technical expertise in support of end-to-end weapon system analysis for system critical elements and functions from component level through sub-system, to full system of systems.
Conduct system, element, and component level assessments that include interoperability analysis with other system elements and dependencies.
Perform systems engineering ancillary tasks required to support the overall systems analysis function to ensure a comprehensive and cohesive protection effort.
Perform all functional duties independently, typically at a Journeyman labor category level..
3+ years of experience in security analysis, systems engineering, or a related field.
BA/BS or MA/MS degree in a relevant discipline.
Strong knowledge of systems engineering principles and practices.
Experience with model and data analysis to evaluate critical program information and technologies.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with senior leadership and stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Familiarity with DoD security and systems engineering processes and requirements.
Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required:
Experience supporting Army or other DoD programs.
Knowledge of hypersonic weapons systems.
Experience with interoperability analysis and systems integration.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and license and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $78,400.00 - $173,500.00.
