What we are looking for:
Aldridge Electric is seeking a skilled and motivated Security Analyst responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's cybersecurity policies, procedures, and training programs. Reporting to the IT Operations Manager, this role will also conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices. The Security Analyst will play a crucial role in protecting the company's sensitive information and critical infrastructure from cyber threats.
What you’ll do:
+ Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive cybersecurity policies, standards, and guidelines.
+ Develop and deliver engaging security awareness training programs for employees at all levels.
+ Educate employees on cybersecurity best practices, including password security, phishing awareness, social engineering, and data protection.
+ Conduct periodic security audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and potential threats.
+ Evaluate the effectiveness of existing security controls and recommend improvements.
+ Analyze security logs and incident reports to identify patterns and trends.
+ Assist in the investigation and response to security incidents.
+ Work with IT and other departments to contain and mitigate security breaches.
+ Monitor security advisories and vulnerability databases to stay informed about emerging threats.
+ Ensure compliance with relevant cybersecurity regulations and standards.
Who you are:
+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
+ 3+ years of experience in a cybersecurity role, preferably in the construction industry.
+ Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, best practices, and industry standards.
+ Experience with security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls.
+ Knowledge of common cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities.
+ Familiarity with security tools and technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and vulnerability scanners.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Relevant cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, Security+, CISM).
+ Experience with cloud security and data loss prevention (DLP) solutions.
+ Knowledge of construction industry-specific security challenges and regulations.
What we offer:
The annual base pay for this role is between $70,000 - $120,000. The actual pay is dependent upon many factors, including: location, work experience, education, training, transferable skills, business needs, and market conditions.
