The **Security Analyst II** will perform declassification analysis of documents related to all MDA Research, Development, and Acquisition (RDA) Programs, including Test and Evaluation (T&E) activities, and fielding of the BMDS worldwide. The **Security Analyst II** will apply analytical principles and practices, research and technical support in the development and production of security products and activities. **Responsibilities** + Performs declassification analysis in a classified environment on Government site. + Complete MDA reviewer training and certification by the agency to perform this effort. + Performs reviews manually (paper), digitally (computer based), or loading/viewing special media depending upon the complexity and nature of material. + Conducts page-by-page, line-by-line, declassification analysis. + Recommends action to retain, refer, or declassify recommendation on each item based on analysis. + Conducts analysis, reviews, and preparation of material for shipment to/from external sites. + Converts antiquated special media to digitized media to lengthen the life of the historical records. + Supervisory: May be required to provide daily supervision in compliance with policies, procedures, and applicable laws including employee recruiting, development and retention. + Other duties as assigned **Qualifications** + Highschool diploma or GED equivalent + Associate of Science or Associate of Arts degree relevant to the Security/CI fields is preferred. + 3+ years working on missile defense-related or other DoD program/project + Experience or education adaptable to analytical document review within the DoD (e.g. Intelligence Analyst, Background Investigator, Declassification Reviewer) + HRRDR certified within 1 month of start work date. + Top Secret with SCI eligibility **Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:** + Familiarity with DOD and MDA processes and procedures. + Previous experience in DOD security or DOD intelligence desired. + Top Secret clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) is desired. + Proficient with Microsoft software applications. + Travel: ability to travel 0-5% to CONUS and OCONUS locations. + Ability to work nights, weekends and Holidays as required **How you’ll grow** At Chenega MIOS, our professional development plan focuses on helping our team members at every level of their careers to identify and use their strengths to do their best work every day.
