Job Description

Security Architect - Vulnerability Research

 

We are seeking a Security Architect who will lead our security research, vulnerability discovery, and offensive security testing initiatives:

Key Responsibilities:

Lead vulnerability research programs and develop novel exploitation techniquesDesign and implement custom fuzzing frameworks to discover security vulnerabilitiesConduct in-depth security assessments and penetration testing of complex systemsResearch and discover novel attack vectors in distributed systems and network protocolsCreate automated security testing pipelines for continuous vulnerability discoveryDevelop proof-of-concept exploits to demonstrate security findingsDrive secure development practices and implement security controls throughout the SDLCLead security incident response for vulnerability discoveriesMentor team members on advanced exploitation techniques and vulnerability researchMaintain relationships with the security research community and track emerging threats

Required Qualifications:

10+ years of software security engineering experienceStrong track record in vulnerability research and CVE discoveryDemonstrated expertise in:Custom fuzzing framework development (e.g., LibFuzzer, AFL, custom fuzzers)Binary analysis and exploitation techniquesMemory corruption vulnerability discoveryProtocol fuzzing and network securityReverse engineering and vulnerability researchStatic and dynamic analysis toolingAdvanced programming skills in languages commonly used for security tooling (C/C++, Python)Experience with modern exploitation mitigation techniques and bypass methodsStrong understanding of Linux/Unix security architecture

Desired Qualifications:

Published CVEs or security advisoriesContributions to open-source security tools or fuzzing frameworks (e.g., AFL, Syzkaller, etc.)Expertise in one or more areas:Kernel security researchBrowser securityHardware securityCloud infrastructure securitySupply chain securityExperience building security automation pipelinesKnowledge of symbolic execution and formal verification techniquesTrack record of responsible disclosure and working with vendors DDN

Interview Process:

 

After submitting your application, the team reviews your CV and statement of exceptional work. If your application passes this stage, you will be invited to a 30-minute interview (“phone interview”) during which a member of our team will ask some basic questions. If you clear the initial phone interview, you will enter the main process, which consists of four technical interviews:

 

Coding assessment in a language of your choice.Systems design: Translate high-level requirements into a scalable, fault-tolerant service.Systems hands-on: Demonstrate practical skills in a live problem-solving session.Project deep-dive: Present your past exceptional work to a small audience.Meet and greet with the wider team.Our goal is to finish the main process within one week.We don’t rely on recruiters for assessments.Every application is reviewed by a member of our technical team.
