Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Security Assistant for the EPASS Contract supporting the Air Force.

 

JOB DETAILS

LOCATION:     Tinker AFB, Oklahoma City, OK

JOB STATUS:  Full Time

TRAVEL: TBD

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

Master’s or Doctorate Degree in a related field and ten years of experience in the respective technical / professional discipline being performed, five years of which must be in the DoD
• OR, Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and 12 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, five of which must be in the DoDPossess demonstrated knowledge of DoD security procedures, including classified transmission, protection of incoming mail, courier requirements, security incident reporting, and security violation sanctions.Command a full understanding and maintain current on all Operations Security (OPSEC) practices.Top Secret Clearance and U.S. Citizenship required for all applicants

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Recommending, evaluating, maintaining, and/or operating systems, policies, devices, procedures, and methods used for safeguarding information, property, personnel, operations, and materials. Recommending and implementing policies and procedures for analyzing and evaluating the character, background, and history of employees, candidates for employment, and other persons having or proposed to be granted access to classified or other sensitive information, materials, or work sites. Providing the following security support for controlled facilities – access, security checks and documentation, inspection preparation and support, escort responsibilities, establishment and enforcement of personnel security procedures and best practices, and other relevant security support for all levels of classification.Issue notices and continuous reminders to Program Office personnel regarding OPSEC practices
