**Northridge Hospital Medical Center**
Northridge Hospital Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and professional **Security Coordinator** to oversee and manage the hospital's security operations, ensuring the safety and well-being of our patients, staff, and visitors. The Security Coordinator will work closely with hospital administration, security personnel, and local law enforcement to maintain a safe environment and enforce hospital policies regarding security and safety.

**Responsibilities**
+ Assists the security director with developing and maintaining department operations, and carrying out administrative functions and tasks as assigned by the director.
+ Assists with badging office operations and making badges, granting and removing badge access levels, and developing access levels.
+ Coordinates, supports and adheres to Security Department policies, post orders, and procedures guidelines.
+ Maintain accurate records of security incidents, vulnerabilities, and remediation efforts.
+ Manage security incident response activities, including investigation, containment, eradication, and recovery.
+ Maintains current knowledge of new methods, products, trends, and practices in hospital security and emergency management.
+ Reports unsafe acts or conditions to the Supervisor/ Lead Officer/ Director promptly.
+ Work with other hospital departments, including nursing, facilities, and administration, to ensure seamless integration of security protocols into the overall healthcare delivery process.
+ Participate in security awareness training programs for employees.
**Qualifications**
+ Minimum of 1 year experience in a supervisory, management, or leadership role required.
+ Minimum of 1-year experience as shift lead in hospital Security. Or a minimum of 2 years as a Public Safety/Security officer preferred.
+ High School Diploma or equivalent required
+ Completion of college-level education courses in criminal justice preferred.
+ A current Driver's License issued by the State where the position is posted, with a satisfactory DMV report on file, is required at the time of hire.
+ California Security Officer License required.
+ AHA BLS required (must obtain 60 days of start date)
+ Fire Safety Card required. (must obtain 90 days of start date).
**Pay Range**
$24.96 - $34.31 /hour
