Security Data Analyst

Who we are looking for

We are seeking a skilled Security Data Analyst to join our Fusion Analytics and Data Engineer Team, focusing on building out our Enterprise security observability framework across our hybrid SIEM. You will be helping the team support our Enterprise Log Telemetry Monitoring initiative, aiming to enhance security observability at scale.

The ideal candidate will bring strong technical capabilities and analytical skill, leveraging their experience in security operations to support data-driven insights and build sustainable analytics solutions.

What you will be responsible for

· Implement Security observabilities using Splunk, Cribl, Databricks stack

· Support the build out of Log Telemetry Monitoring by analyzing and scaling security data to deliver actionable insights

· Design and implement queries, dashboards and other data visualization tools within Splunk and Databricks.

· Identify and analyze log telemetry at scale, providing insights to enhance observability and security posture.

· Ensure thorough documentation of workflows, procedures and technical configurations for successful knowledge management

Education & Preferred Qualifications

· Bachelor or above degree in Computer Science or related field.

· 5+ years strong experience working as a security analyst, data analyst, security engineer or on a SOC team.

· In-depth understanding of Agile/Scrum values and principles; rich experience of working at high- efficient Scrum cross-functional team of software development and delivery.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all stakeholder levels across multiple countries globally.

· Hands-on experience with SIEM tools (mostly Splunk) and advanced knowledge of SPL, Python, SQL and Databricks.

· Familiarity with security products, general observability telemetry and observability concepts.

· Previous experience in analytics, quickly generating insights from various security data sources.

Salary Range:

$110,000 - $185,000 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
