MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Secures property and facility.Locks and unlocks facility doors.Conducts routine property walks. Inspects premises for signs of intrusion or tampering. Tour facility, examining doors, windows, and gates to ensure they are secure.Interacts with the public and all levels of management and fellow employees.Secures the safety of all individuals on the premises.Works independently and judges and assesses situations for immediate response.Monitors security systems and cameras.Notifies appropriate members of management or emergency systems when necessary.Completes incident reports and logs as required.Responds immediately to emergency situations – answer alarms and investigate disturbances.Keep a record of all keys and equipment that is signed out.Work extended and/or irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Skills and Abilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have some knowledge of computers including Microsoft suite. Additional computer training will be provided for advanced software platforms.
Education/Experience:
High School diploma or GEDOne year of security experience in a similar environment preferred.Physical Demands:
