Linden Ponds by Erickson Senior LivingWe are hiring experienced Security and Emergency Services (SES) Officers to train in Emergency Medical Response. These officers will start in a SES I role but will be required to complete Emergency Medical Response training within the first 90 days of employment and will then be promoted to SES II.
EMR is a free two-week training program offered quarterly at Linden Ponds. Participants are paid to attend. Training includes CPR certification.
The SES Officer is responsible for carrying out the Security and Emergency Services Programs, including Security, Emergency Medical Response, Safety/Life Safety, Emergency Preparedness, and Prevention/Outreach.
Compensation: starting at $20 hourly commensurate with experience plus shift differentials. Pay increases by $3 after successfully completing EMR training.
Schedule: We are currently hiring for overnight shifts = 7pm to 7am

Participate in routine interior and exterior patrols of the buildings and groundsConduct safety checks and inspections in support of Life Safety and OSHA complianceReceive calls for non-emergency service from dispatch and security by radio or telephone and responds timely and appropriatelyRespond and assists in Community Emergencies, including but not limited to; fires, floods, severe weather, hazardous materials incidents, bomb threats, and evacuationsCreate the best initial impression of the communityScreen all vehicle and pedestrian traffic entering the community Document all visitors and vendors/contractors and provides proper parking passes, maps, and instructs visitors to park in appropriate spaces.What you will need
Must be at least 18 years oldCurrent and valid driver’s licensePrior experience in security preferredAbility to demonstrate professional and responsive interactions with residents and their family members, staff, vendors, and each otherAbility to document daily activities in a clear and concise mannerPlease note that specific state regulations and requirements may be applicable.
