As a Security Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting security monitoring, incident response, and compliance efforts, while also contributing to network infrastructure, server management, and cloud operations. Duties and Responsibilities
Support security policies, procedures, and controls across both Microsoft environments and network infrastructure. Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts, events, and incidents across cloud, network, and on-premises systems. Conduct security assessments, and vulnerability scans for Microsoft 365, Azure, network devices, and servers. Assist in the design, deployment, and management of security solutions including SIEM, EDR, firewalls, VPNs, and identity management platforms. Collaborate with IT and compliance teams to remediate identified vulnerabilities and track remediation efforts to closure. Provide support for network infrastructure including switches, routers, wireless, firewalls, and cloud networking configurations. Maintain up-to-date network topology diagrams, asset inventories, and configuration documentation for all managed sites and cloud environments. Participate in security incident response activities, investigations, and forensic analysis as required. Assist with secure configurations and patch management of servers, endpoints, and network devices. Stay current with emerging security threats, Microsoft compliance standards, industry regulations, and security best practices. Collaborate with Tier I and Tier II IT teams, providing troubleshooting and guidance for escalated security and network issues. Provide on-site and remote technical support as needed to ensure the continuity of IT and security operations. Other duties as assigned.
