Security Engineer
**Description** This position is responsible for designing, maintaining, and operating stable enterprise cloud security platforms to deliver robust business infrastructure. The Security Engineer will monitor, manage, and react to events on security devices and appliances across the Bunzl North America (BNA) Enterprise. In addition, the Security Engineer will participate in the design, architecture, installation, monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimization of all network security environments. This individual will analyze and resolve cloud security applications and environmental problems in a timely and accurate fashion. The Security Engineer will provide technical mentorship and training to team members, as necessary. This individual will lead engagements with business and vendor resources developing cloud security solutions to maintain a consistent cloud security posture that is compliant with global standards and cybersecurity best practices. **_Responsibilities:_** + Design, deploy and maintain complex cloud security solutions to align with business strategies + Configure, support, and maintain cloud firewalls, enterprise security appliances and related applicable security technologies + Develop, implement, and maintain documentation for policies, procedures, and associated training plans for cloud security administration, configuration, usage, data flow mapping, and disaster recovery + Deliver new and existing solutions, applications, platforms, and software upgrades + Conduct research on cloud security products, services, protocols, and standards to remain abreast of developments in the enterprise security industry + Monitor network and cloud security performance and troubleshoot problem areas as needed + Deliver governance of cloud security controls for all BNA cloud security service platforms + Practice asset management, including maintenance of cloud security components, inventory, and related documentation of technical specifications + Mentor and/or provide guidance to team members + Design and implement new technologies and provide cloud security expertise across BNA + Develop technical integration plans for business acquisitions **_Requirements:_** + High School diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred + Minimum of 4 years of accredited college work with a degree in Information Systems (BS or BA); degree requirements may be waived with significant related and demonstrable work experiences + Minimum of 6-8 years of increasing responsibilities in a networking/telecommunications function of an IT organization + Highly desirable to possess an Enterprise Security certification + Proven experience and success with Network and Cloud Security design and implementation + Strong, hands-on technical knowledge of cloud and security operating systems/applications + Excellent hardware, application, and system-level troubleshooting experience + Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws + Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills with ability to present ideas clearly + Able to conduct independent research into network security issues and products as required + Highly self-motivated, with keen attention to detail **So, what are you waiting for?
