This local commercial bank is looking for a Network Security Engineer to bolster their security team. Reporting directly to the CISO, this person will handle SecOps and blue team security responsibilities. This person will have the opportunity to help grow the security team and have an impact on the direction of the program.

Ideal candidates will have experience in a SOC environment and have skills in vulnerability management, SIEM, and incident response. Checkpoint experience is also required. Automation experience would be a huge plus as you will also have opportunities to automate security processes. This is a direct hire position that is hybrid in Manhattan, so only local candidates will be considered.

Required Skills & Experience Minimum 3 years of professional experience in cyber security Strong experience in SecOps SIEM tools Vulnerability scanning Checkpoint experience Desired Skills & Experience Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience Relevant security certifications Automation experience (Python, Bash, etc.)
