Key Responsibilities:
Assist in monitoring and responding to security incidents, including threat analysis, vulnerability assessments, and mitigation.Participate in the design and implementation of security protocols for various applications and systems.Conduct security audits to identify potential vulnerabilities.Research emerging threats, new technologies, and best practices in cybersecurity.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security standards are integrated into product development and business processes.Help develop security awareness training materials for employees.Document findings, contribute to security reports, and present recommendations to team leaders.Support projects in areas like network security, cloud security, identity and access management, and incident response.Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.Strong programming skills using REST APIs to integrate with third party software.Proficient in programming or scripting languages like Python or PowerShell.Strong understanding of networking concepts, security protocols, and basic encryption techniques.Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS), network security tools, and vulnerability scanning software.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an eagerness to learn new tools and technologies.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong attention to detail.Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):
Experience with SIEM tools, firewalls, or endpoint detection and response systems.Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Google Cloud, and their security frameworks.Understanding of ethical hacking, penetration testing, and incident response best practices.Minimum Education
